The Cranberries formed in Limerick in 1989 under the name "The Cranberries Saw Us", later changed by vocalist Dolores O'Riordan. Although widely associated with Alt Rock, the band's sound also incorporates elements of Indie, Indie pop, Rock and Post-punk.
Unfortunately Dolores passed away on 15th January 2018 aged 47.
