Serpentine is a crystal made of hydrated magnesium silicate. Its green colouration is similar to a serpent or snake skin.
 
Associated with the heart chakra it is a stone of abundance and manifestation, working on all levels including love, spirituality and prosperity.  Often used in "Kundalini Awakenings" by clearing a pathway through the dormant energy of the seven chakras.
