Known primarily by his stage name, Eminem, or his alter ego Slim Shady, Marshall Bruce Mathers is his birth name. Born in 1972 in Missouri, USA, Mathers started his music career as a member of Soul Intent in 1992. He became a controversial figure during the late 90s / early 00's and has influenced many artists over the years.
