The journey is half the fun, and few bands understand that better than Cardinal Black. Together with renowned guitarist Chris Buck and drummer Adam Roberts – the band have now emerged with their best work to date: the resplendent Midnight At The Valencia. When it came to Midnight at the Valencia, the band set out to create a record that represented their 10,000 hours of work, playing in every backwater dive bar and neon-soaked club they’d set foot in.
 
“It’s a long, shared history we have,” Hollister says. “We feel like we’ve paid our dues, and this album is the culmination of all that effort.” Produced by Cyrill Camenzind (James Morrison, Alain Clark, Marc Broussard), each song serves as a “snapshot” of the highs and lows the band has endured, forming the complete picture that traverses love, loss, grief, disappointment and hope.
